ABOUT
CARROLL COUNTY
Carroll
County is located in Northwest Missouri. With access to rail and
road links, it is a great choice for industry. Located just one
hour from Kansas City, it provides access to an International
Airport (MCI) and services.
Carroll
County isn't a metropolis - we pride ourselves on our quality of
life. Mixing countryside views and fresh air with quality
education and health care facilities, our community is a place
you'll want to raise a family.
Carrollton
is the county seat of Carroll County. Other cities that we are
proud to call our hometowns are Norborne, DeWitt, Bosworth,
Bogard, Hale and Tina.
Our
locally owned Carrollton Municipal Utilities offers electric
service at low rates with dependable service. Carroll County is
also endowed with an abundance of water.
An
excellent workforce can be trained to accommodate needs through
state and locally funded training programs. Besides maintaining
a good work ethic, the labor market in Carroll County may be
utilized by industry to manufacture or distribute products which
are consumed not only by the Midwest, but globally, at a
substantially lower labor cost.
Carrollton
was honored by the National
Civic League as a 2005 All-American
City.
Our
Mission
Through
education, technology, workforce development, business expansion
and recruitment, we will work in conjunction with the Carroll
County Commission, the Carrollton Town Council, Carrollton
Municipal Utilities, and Carrollton Area Chamber of Commerce to
ensure the economic stability and growth of our community.
